Thanks for mentioning that I can use Google as a scrap yard locator to find the best services that can recycle my unwanted scrap. I’ll try to do my research so that I can get some good profit in selling my junk. Personally, I believe that a scrap yard’s reputation will help me know if I’m going to get some good deals or not so I’ll be sure to check it out as well.

Finding a good scrap yard does seem like a tricky thing to do. I like that you pointed out that you might want to check how much money they will give you for your scrap. That is good for me to know because I want to start scraping soon.

I never knew that non-ferrous metals are metals with no iron in them and these tend to fetch the highest prices at the scrap yard. I have a lot of scrap metal on my property. Thanks for the tips on scrap metal selling.

At home, we have been collecting metal for a rainy day and now we are thinking about cashing in out on it. I did not know about non-ferrous metals before this article. It sounds like I will need a magnet to discover the value of the metal.

That’s good to know that metals with no iron in them tend to have a higher price than those with iron. My husband has an old car that no longer works that he wants to sell some of the scrap metal for extra cash. We’ll have to check if it has iron in it or not and then find a metal yard we can sell it to that’ll give us a good price.

I have a bunch of scarp aluminum laying around from a past car build that I didn’t get done. Since it’s sitting, I do know that I could get a decent amount for it. As you did mention, I’ll probably shop around different scrap yards and find the one that will give me the best return.
